12 months in Death or Glory Co.

12 months in Death or Glory Co.

It's at this time of year that people tend to take stock of what has gone on over the past 12 months. Since the official incarnation of Death or Glory Co. Apparel is now 1 year old I thought I would take a brief look at some of the things that have happened in my life this year.

Firstly it was at this time last year that I officially opened Death or Glory Co. for the first time and released a bunch of designs that I still love today.

In the early part of this year I became an uncle when my brother and his wife had their first child, a baby boy named Oliver. In the few months he has been around we've already watched him change so much, he's amazing and I'm so happy for them both.

Literally a week after Oliver arrived, the big day had finally arrived for Lucy and I. Thats right after much planning we were married, the whole day was such a blur but it was great to share it with so many wonderful people, and start our journey together as husband and wife.

Obviously after the wedding comes the honeymoon and what a honeymoon it was! We decided to take the plunge and go to the one place we've both always wanted to go and that was Japan! It was such an amazing trip together, trying food, visiting places we had only previously read about or seen on TV or in films, and meet some really interesting people.

Then to finish off an already jam packed year we bought our first home. A beautiful three bedroom semi detached house with so much potential for us to add our own touches, and more than enough space for us to grow over the years.

Thinking about it now it amazes me that we managed to cram so much into the year but we did and I can honestly say I've loved every minute of it.

The only thing left to do now is enjoy some much needed time with family and friends between Christmas and New year, and recharge our batteries for what ever 2018 will bring us.
