A couple of weeks ago I posted on social media about a collaboration piece I've been working on with Ewan Stark of Rogue Concept UK.
Rogue Concept is a group of like-minded individuals who are putting on a charity drift event to help raise money for Mission Motorsport.
When Ewan first contacted me he was only wanting a logo for Rogue Concept. He sent me some logos that he liked, we then had a discussion about what ideas he had for logos. There were a few iterations of logo ideas but after a bit of time I came up with this.
Overall it is a simple yet stylish design that will look good whether printed in black and white or in colour.
Ewan was so happy with this design that he then wanted to talk about some more work he would like me to do for the charity in the form of some sticker designs to help raise money. However, because this was for charity I thought it would be a good idea to work together on the sticker designs as I felt the cause they're raising money for is a worthwhile one.
So I set to work on two completely new designs, and here they are:
As you can see the stickers showcase two very different but both very attractive drift cars. The first is Ewan's very own 1JZ powered Lexus IS200. The second is Taylor Bloomfield's SR20DET powered E30 BMW.
As mentioned all proceeds from the sale of these stickers (plus the logo sticker) will be donated to Mission Motorsport.
But what about the charity drift day you mentioned earlier? Well, Sadly the driver slots have now been filled and I, (I'm both proud and slightly scared to say) have a place in the line up with my shonky looking but much loved R32 Nissan Skyline.
However spectators are more than welcome and the details are as follows:
Where: Driftland UK, Lochgelly, Fife, Scotland, KY5 0AY
When: 5th May 2018
Entry fee: Minimum donation of £5 to enter all proceeds of which will be donated to Mission Motorsport.
Time: Gates open at 10:00am
I can't wait and I hope to see lots of you there!!
